Effects of water pollution - JSS1 Physical and Health Education Lesson Note

Water pollution can have severe consequences on the environment and the health of both aquatic organisms and humans. 

1.It can result in the destruction of aquatic habitats. 

2.The decline of fish and wildlife populations .

3.The spread of disease,  

4.The contamination of drinking water sources.  

5.Exposure to polluted water can lead to illnesses and health problems, including gastrointestinal issues, skin infections, and respiratory disorders.
