Causes of water pollution - JSS1 Physical and Health Education Lesson Note

There are various factors that contribute to water pollution, including 

i.Industrial and agricultural activities

 ii.Untreated sewage and wastewater

iii.Oil spills

iv.The improper disposal of hazardous chemicals and materials. 

v.Runoff from urban areas and agricultural land can also carry pollutants into water bodies, leading to contamination.
